MTS Part of Winning Team Awarded Five-Year Solutions for Intelligence Analysis ContractReleased: Tuesday, April 08, 2008ARLINGTON, VA -- The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), Virginia Contracting Activity, Huntsville, Alabama, recently announced that a team led by Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) won a competitive, multiple award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Solutions for Intelligence Analysis (SIA) contract. MTS Technologies, Inc. (MTS) is a member of the winning team which includes 2 large businesses and 30 small businesses. This contract is one of eight IDIQs awarded with an anticipated combined contract ceiling of $1 billion over a five-year period. The contract will enable rapid provision of intelligence analysis support across the full spectrum of Department of Defense intelligence organizations. The defense intelligence community includes the U.S. Armed Services Intelligence Centers, intelligence support to the combatant commanders and the Defense Intelligence Agency.
The comprehensive ability of this team to focus across all technical areas of the government’s requirements combined with multi-disciplined intelligence analysis experience provides the best value for DIA. The CTC team offers the government an alternative that will slow the spiraling increase in contracting costs by bringing new and untapped talent to large IDIQ contracts.

MTS Technologies, Inc. Awarded an Omnibus III Contract from the U.S. Army Worth up to $175 MillionReleased: Wednesday, February 13, 2008Arlington, VA -- MTS Technologies, Inc. (MTS) has been awarded an Omnibus III Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) from the U.S. Army's Program Executive Office for Combat Support & Combat Service Support (PEO CS&CSS) in Warren, Michigan. The purpose of the Contract is to provide engineering, logistics, technical, and program support. This Contract has an anticipated ceiling of $175 million over a five-year period.
MTS was selected as a prime contractor for the Omnibus III program. MTS teamed with Allen Corporation of America, BearingPoint and Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) to bring the best team to the Omnibus III effort. This effort will be led by MTS' Advanced Systems Division which is located in Troy, Michigan near the Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM), with extended operations in Johnstown, PA, Arlington, VA, and at various Army Installations across the U.S.
"This vehicle will provide a simplified, efficient means to support the PEO CS & CSS Acquisition Center in meeting the growing demands placed on them," said Rick Wyrembelski, Division Manager for the Advanced Systems Division of MTS.
